Edinburgh Napier Transport Research Institute are holding their third Electric Vehicle event on 11 October.
The First Minister recently announced the Scottish Government’s commitment for Scotland to phase out new petrol and diesel vehicles by 2032 – eight years ahead of the UK government’s target. This will required a widespread expansion in electric charging points and a large uptake of electric vehicles over the short and medium term.
This event will provide the latest information regarding the pros and cons of automobiles that will include discussions on the air quality and lectures related to the latest electric vehicle R&D.
Attendees will hear from various speakers from academia and business, as well as Transport Minister Humza Yousaf MSP who will present a key note speech.
