Scottish Law Commission — automated vehicles consultationDeadline 16 January 2020
The Scottish Law Commission is working with the Law Commission of England and Wales on the second consultation paper reviewing the UK’s regulatory framework for the safe deployment of automated vehicles.
The Law Commissions’ task is to provide a legal framework which can remain effective in the face of vehicles that may no longer include a human driver. Our work will be part of a national conversation on this important future technology.
The consultation is due on Thursday 16 January and you can respond on the Scottish Law Commission website.
