Parliament’s environment committee hears Transform’s views on Air Quality

Published 07 November 2017 by Colin Howden

Transform Scotland chair Phil Matthews today gave oral evidence to the Scottish Parliament’s Environment, Climate Change and Land Reform Committee as part of its inquiry into air quality.

As part of his evidence, Phil said:

I welcome the air quality strategy and the proposals on low-emission zones, but we believe that we could go further. We would like a low-emission zone to be introduced as quickly as possible in every city that has an air quality management area at present.

The Parliament’s full Official Report of the evidence session is available online, and is also available on ‘Scottish Parliament TV‘.
