Welcome parliamentary scrutiny of access to Scotland’s transport interchanges
Published 08 May 2015 by Colin HowdenWe have today written to Jim Eadie MSP, convener of the Parliament’s transport committee, in response to its survey on access to Scotland’s major urban railway stations.
In the letter, Transform Scotland draw attention to the unacceptable situation imposed by Network Rail on people accessing Edinburgh’s Waverley Station, flag up the ‘Interchange’ project that we published in September 2014, and call for all publicly-funded rail redevelopment projects to ensure that all key stakeholder organisations be tasked to work together to maximise transport integration
The Commitee’s survey, which closes today, is available online at <http://www.scottish.parliament.uk/parliamentarybusiness/CurrentCommittees/88585.aspx>.
